Much of Reminderville’s history in the northeast corner of Summit County includes tales of exploring the natural wonders found in what is now Summit County Metro Parks Liberty Park.
In 2000, Reminderville, Twinsburg Township, and Summit County Metro Parks worked with the City of Twinsburg to consolidate and develop the land so this unique property could meet its potential. The Metro Parks are actively constructing safe access paths through select areas of Liberty Park.
The newest addition opened on May 21, 2015: the Liberty Park Nature Center just south of Post Road. A beautiful center that is equal parts outdoor classroom, exhibit area, public space, and destination. The 3,900-sq-ft center is sure to become a popular place for programs, school groups, and special events.
