Summit County Public Health has organized a free coronavirus testing clinic on Saturday and Sunday in West Akron, in collaboration with Summa Health and the House of the Lord.
The testing will be in the parking lot of the House of the Lord at 1650 Diagonal Road from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. on June 27 and June 28.
No appointment is necessary, and both walk-up and drive-up testing is available.
Participants should bring their insurance card if they have one, but insurance is not required and there is no out-of-pocket cost. Be prepared to share your name, date of birth, address and phone number.
The test is not an antibody test, but will determine if a participant currently has COVID-19.
For more information, call the Summit County Public Health coronavirus help line at 330-926-5795 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
