Summit County damage assessments from August 8 storm

Mayor Alonso has been in contact with Congresswoman Emilia Sykes to request assistance for those who had flood damage from Thursday’s storm.  He is waiting to hear back from other state representatives.  Now that Governor DeWine has declared Summit County a state of emergency, he is hopeful residents will be able to receive expedited assistance.  Summit County is collecting data to assess damages in each municipality.

Please submit damage reports to https://crisistrack.juvare.com/public/summitOH/request.html

For residents who had sewer backup in their homes, please submit a report to Summit County as those pipes are owned and maintained by the County.  Reports can be sent to Tim Miller at tmiller@summitoh.net:   https://co.summitoh.net/forms/Sewer-Backup-Report.html
