Summit Cty Hazardous Waste Collection June-Sept

ReWorks’ Household Hazardous Waste Collection has begun for the 2023 season. Each year, June through the end of September, ReWorks invites Summit County residents to bring household hazardous wastes generated in their homes to our facility at 1201 Graham Rd. in Stow on Thursdays from 2pm-7pm.

As the Solid Waste Management Authority of Summit County, ReWorks offers this free service to Summit County residents to assist in keeping our environment clean. Commonly used products like batteries, cleaners and automotive oil are considered household hazardous waste along with items that have words like caution, corrosive, flammable or poison on the label. For more comprehensive guidance on what is accepted during these collections visit www.summitreworks.com/hhw

Final decisions about acceptable items are made on site by on-site technicians.
