Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP)

The Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP) provides assistance to individuals at 200% or below the poverty guidelines.  Services are designed to reduce the energy burden for income qualified households.  Owner occupied homes and rental properties throughout Summit County may qualify.  Applicants may not have received weatherization services from Summit County in the past to qualify.  Assistance may include, furnace replacement/repair; insulation, air sealing and hot water tank replacement/repair.  Window replacement is NOT included in this program.
